Happy 2015!

I always feel like January is sad and cold and depressing, this reminds me that it can be beautiful too, you just have to look for it.

Hi Stylettes, I'm so glad to be back! I'm on a new platform (Blogger), have my own domain, and I'm really trying a different approach with my blog. Oh, and  Happy New Year! This means new possibilities, new opportunities, and more blessings coming your way. Every year I try to make a new years resolution, not to fit in with the "new year, new me" crowd but, because I genuinely want to improve myself and become a better woman and mother. Here are a few of my 2015 resolutions.
  • No More Procrastinating: I have always had issues with procrastination. I'd make a goal, say I'd really get to it, keep putting it off, and I'd never get it done. But not anymore. I bought a planner so I can keep track of my goals and deadlines and really get things done.
  • Take Care of Yourself: I am so lazy when it comes to exercise and going to the gym. I'll do it for a couple of days, and you won't see me no where near a treadmill or a gym for a few months. It's a shame, I know. But this year, I'm definitely going to take better care of my body. Not only for me, but so I can keep up with my baby boy! This means eating healthier (not dieting), working out more, and keeping my stress levels down (that can add on weight too).
  • Get Closer to God: I'm realizing that I have been inconsistent with my relationship with God and this is affecting my true happiness with life. A little bit prior to me getting pregnant, I barely went to church (which is so unlike me), and ended up going into a deep depression. I had thoughts of hurting myself and ending my life. Thank God that's over. Now, I'm going to stay in the Word, go to church every week, and pray more. And most importantly, keep God first in my life.
  • Make Your Dreams Come True: I don't know about you, but, I'm tired of sitting back and watching everybody else dreams come true. It's my time and yours. Do the things you've always wanted to! No more should've, could've, would'ves. JUST DO IT. Start the business you've always had your mind on, go back to school and get that degree.  No more excuses, really make this year count.
What are your new years resolutions? Comment below! I want to know. Let's make this year the year our dreams comes true. Make goals, plan accordingly so you can reach those goals. Don't make any excuses. Don't let anything hold you back.
Happy New Year | Have an amazing year!
