10 Scriptures to Help You Get Through A Bad Week

I'm not going to front, it's hard being a mom. I love it, but it's hard. I've barely been getting any sleep, I've been looking for another job, laundry is piling back up,  trying to get a few blog posts in while taking care of the baby.  Am I the only one that feels like things have been super hard? I feel so overwhelmed and drained.

This has been one of those weeks when I just felt like going off on everyone around me and breaking down and crying. But, I can't. I have to be a strong mama. My strength comes from God, and I definitely can't get through the day without Him.

I've learned that even when things are super hard and things don't seem like they will get better anytime soon, you still have to have faith and I've come up with some scriptures that have inspired and motivated me to keep going and be all that I can be.

So get out a pen and paper or  some note cards, place these scriptures in a place where you will see them everyday. Like your bathroom mirror, your desk at work, a place where you can have them on hand to battle negative thoughts that come against you.

Let's fight the good fight of faith!

Proverbs 3:5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight."

Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:6-7 "And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you."

John 16:33 "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage-- I have conquered the world."

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait for the Lord's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired."

James 1:2-3 "My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance."

John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage."

Psalm 56:3-4 "When I am afraid, I trust in you. In God -- I boast in his promise -- in God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men do to me?"

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 " Always rejoice, constantly pray, in everything give thanks. For this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:13 "I am able to do all things through the one who strengthens me."

I pray that there are better days for all my Stylettes, and that you find the strength everyday to keep pushing. You can do this.

Have some scriptures that I'm missing? Comment them below! Let's encourage each other.
